Vegetables

We take pride in providing delicious fresh veggies to our community. Our vegetable varieties are selected for their ability to provide superior flavor and are grown to standards put forth by the National Organic Program. Let us bring the bounty to you- if you want it any fresher, you’ll have to grow it yourself!

Fruit

Want to enjoy the sweet taste of farm fresh fruit? We grow several types of fruit at Old Homeplace Farm. Our strawberries and blueberries are available through our online store during the late spring/early summer each year. We look forward to this special harvest each year.

Grass Fed Beef

We count it a privilege to provide you with exceptionally flavorful, healthy grass fed meat at a fair price. Each animal we offer has been carefully selected for its ability to provide a superior eating experience. You have our assurance that Old Homeplace Farm grass fed animals are raised in a sustainable manner, with a dedication to quality. We produce our animals on pasture at Old Homeplace Farm because we feel that doing so is better for the animals, and better for the land. It does take us a bit longer to raise animals in this manner, but we think that some things in life are worth the wait.

Pork

We think happy pigs make delicious pork, and we take pride in the way we raise our pigs on pasture. This pork might be our favorite thing to eat from the farm. Whether it be  juicy pork chops or cheddar bratwurst links, there is sure to be something for everyone.

Honey

Rich, beautiful honey from the forests of Oneida, KY. Our neighbors at Meadow Branch Farm are master apiarists (with over 60 active hives), and their bees make some the best honey around. We are thankful that a few of their hives live at our farm to help with vegetable pollination. You too can reap the sweet rewards without the work- we’ll leave that to the bees and Meadow Branch Farm. No chemicals are ever used on their farm or in the hives, and no heat is ever used in the honey extraction process, providing friends, family, and customers with pure, raw mountain honey.

CSA

CSA is an acronym for Community Supported Agriculture. This means that the customer (aka community) supports the farm by paying a set amount of money, and trusts the farmer to provide a "share" of the farm to them. Members purchase a “farm share” in return for a portion of the harvest throughout the season. The customer trusts the farmer to curate a mystery subscription box each week with the vegetables currently available for harvest. We will harvest and provide a bountiful supply of produce to each member once a week throughout the summer season.

Cut Flower Bouquets

Bring the joy of fresh cut flowers to your home! Individual cut flower bouquets are available for purchase each week on our online store from June-September, or purchase a  flower CSA to automatically receive a bouquet (or two) each week during the summer season.
